Traditionally shaped cameras
We offer some CCTV cameras that have a very traditional design. In other words, they look like the original style of CCTV cameras. The main advantage of this design is that prospective intruders and criminals are likely to see your cameras and be deterred by them. Because their design announces their presence so effectively, they are a great way to make would-be intruders rethink their actions and prevent petty criminality before it can occur. Unfortunately, your legitimate customers and clients can also find these highly visible cameras a little intimidating. We recommend deploying traditionally shaped CCTV cameras in and around office exteriors, storage depots, warehouses and other business premises where customers aren’t likely to enter. However, they may not be suitable for customer-facing storefronts.
Dome cameras
Many of the CCTV cameras we offer have a distinctive dome shape that is discreet and functional. These cameras are designed to be mounted on the ceiling, which gives them a fantastic field of vision. While they are not as effective as traditionally shaped cameras as a deterrent, they are noticeable enough that some prospective criminals may be put off by them. On the other hand, they are unlikely to trouble or intimidate ordinary customers and clients. While these cameras don’t offer maximum discretion or ultra-effective deterrence, they do represent a good balance between the two. For this reason, they are ideal for most customer-facing premises.
Smoke-detector style cameras
A small number of the cameras we provide are designed to look like smoke detectors and will go completely unnoticed by most customers and would-be intruders. As such, they aren’t very effective deterrents. However, if you purposefully need a discreet camera that won’t disturb your customers and which will allow you to catch criminals red-handed, smoke-detector style cameras are the best option for you.
