N E Transport is a HGV transport facility located just outside of Purfleet in Essex,
They on operate on a 24/7 basis with heavy goods vehicles coming in and out consistently. The transport manager made contact with us as they were looking to upgrade their old system and was looking for a system more advanced than their old one. It was essential that images during the night were very clear.
Solution
An ANPR camera (number plate recognition) was proposed for the main entrance as it was imperative for the client to have a concise record and a date/time log of all vehicles as they enter and exit the site. A high powered PTZ (pan, tilt & zoom) camera was also placed fairly central within the site enabling our client to immediately zoom into any areas within the large site for clarification of images being seen.
In total 17 cameras were installed including the ANPR and PTZ cameras. All the external cameras are equipped with the Starlight facility which provides a very crisp and clear colour image that almost looks like daylight when in low-level light. All cameras are 5 Megapixel quality ensuring images from all cameras are extremely clear.
Advanced wireless bridges were used to allow our client to monitor areas around the far end of the site that were not previously accessible by traditional cabling methods.
