CCTV Installation & Security Systems in Felixstowe

CCTV Installation Services in Felixstowe

The Port of Felixstowe is the UK’s busiest container port, and the town’s economy runs on the haulage yards, trailer parks and storage sites that serve it. Trailers and containers left overnight are a target. I-HT provides CCTV installation in Felixstowe for those sites and for homes along the coast. Each CCTV security system we design suits the hours and risks of your property.

We start with a free site survey and send a written quotation.

CCTV Installers Covering Felixstowe

Our installers are employed by I-HT, trained to current SSAIB standards and DBS checked. We’re Safe Contractor approved. You can lease or buy your system.

CCTV for Haulage Yards, Trailer Parks and Container Storage

Yards packed with trailers and containers create blind spots between every row. A single camera on the gatehouse won’t see what happens three rows back.

We design these systems around four questions:

Who came in? An ANPR camera at the entrance logs every plate with the date and time.
What happened in the yard? A high-powered pan tilt zoom camera, placed centrally, lets you zoom into any corner.
What about the far end? Wireless bridges reach areas cabling can’t.
Can you see at night? Starlight cameras give a clear colour image in low light.

That’s the setup we installed at N E Transport, a 24/7 HGV facility near Purfleet in Essex: 17 cameras, all 5 megapixel, with ANPR at the entrance, a central PTZ camera and Starlight on every external position.

How CCTV Installation Works

CCTV installation in Felixstowe starts with a free survey. On yards, we map sightlines between trailer rows and check where wireless links will work. After a written quote, our installers fit and test the system and train your team.

1. Survey

We visit your property, listen to what you want to protect and assess the risks.

2. Design and quote

You receive a written quote showing every camera, its position and the equipment we recommend.

3. Installation

Our own installers fit, cable and test the system with as little disruption as possible.

4. Handover and training

We set up viewing on your phone, tablet or PC and show you how to find, save and share footage.

5. Support and maintenance

Our telephone technical support team is on hand after installation, and we offer maintenance visits to keep your system recording.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent company to work with. We have recently upgraded our CCTV with I-HTT as we were happy with the service we received with our original equipment they provided. If ever we have a problem which is usually operator error rather than the equipment we have made a call and the response and help is arranged very quickly, either over the phone or a technician comes to our premises.
As a company we have no negatives.
It's always a relief when a company offers a service and they actually meet there promises. I would definitely recommend.
